In this screen shot one of the windows from the top has been rolled down for a quick peek.Change Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term ContractĬlifford Chance is currently running a 7 year multi-stream Programme of works to deliver the future workspace for both the London office (with over 2,000 employees) and the Newcastle office (with over 200 employees). This has been compatible with NT7 in my experience and I have not noticed any problems so far. So, I can view or hide the main window of each chart with one mouse click and that helps to make better use of the screen. I have Dexpot set up to roll down or roll up the window when I click on the title bar with the mouse wheel button. They are reference charts that I look at occasionally. Here I have some charts at the top in the rolled up state, so only the title bar is visible. ![]() This will be easier to understand by looking at the following screen shots. That's useful, but I use a feature that adds commands to windows to roll up windows to the title bar, so that only the title bar shows on the screen. That would avoid competition for desktop real estate and you could quickly switch to the right desktop to place a trade and then go back to the charts to manage the trade. For example, with one monitor, you could have your charts on desktop 1, your brokers trading application of desktop 2 and email on desktop 3. Your monitor can only display one at a time, but you can switch between desktops with keyboard short cuts or with an application. Virtual desktops can be used to provide four desktops, for example. I have been able to organise my charts more efficiently on the screen using a free application called Dexpot, which is designed to provide virtual desktops and to enhance the Windows management. NT8 will get a tabbed interface for the charts to create a more usable workspace, but we don't know when that will be released and it's not likely to be too soon.
